This course is separated into two modules of learning:
Module One: Introduction to Risk Assessment
Module one explains what a risk assessment is by looking at some key definitions and simplifying a sometimes daunting process. It will utilise a couple of examples to help learners understand the risk assessment process and will look at relevant legislation, why risk assessment is important and what you need to do once you have completed your risk assessment process.
Module Two: Accident Investigation and Reporting
Module two looks at what to do in the event of an incident and what to record and report. This module will help learners to understand and establish a simple yet effective system for recording incidents, which can be used to improve safety and prevent further recurrence. It also covers those types of events which need reporting to the UK Regulator based on current legislation.
