Learners with little or no experience of teaching English. The aim is to develop the introductory knowledge and skills required to begin to teach English as a foreign language.

The qualification develops learners’ knowledge of the English language and how to teach it; how to assess the needs of learners; preparing lesson plans and materials; identify resources and adapt to the needs of younger learners.
