This course is separated into four modules of learning:
Module One: Introduction to DSE
In this module, we will be looking at what DSE actually is and what it involves. We will look at relevant legislation, why DSE is important and what you need to do to be compliant.
Module Two: DSE Assessments and How They Are Completed
This module covers DSE assessments, what it covers and when they should be completed, which will help learners to understand what equipment is covered by both DSE regulations and the assessment. It will also help explain what a good DSE setup looks like and what a poor setup can look like.
Module Three: Completed DSE – What the Employer Needs to Do
Module three discusses some potential findings in light of DSE assessments and what actions can be undertaken to try and reduce the risk of occupational health issues developing from the use of DSE.
Module Four: Homeworkers and Well-being When Working with DSE
Module four discusses what happens to DSE when learners work from home: important for the Coronavirus pandemic and any others which may occur in the future.
